Pretty in Pink

Hi Everyone.  I am here on this fabulous Friday with my post for The Rubber Buggy, to show you some more inspiration using some wonderful stamps and products from the Store. Today I used a stamp called Saturated Canary NEVAEH.   Check out the new line of Saturated Canary Stamps.  You will be sure to want one......
My card measures 7" square.  I stamped my Nevaeh onto some white CS and colored her in using copics.  I used one of my dies to cut her out and for the mat behind her.  I made a frame using one of my punches. I added some webbed ribbon and a bow with a pearl brad in the center. Hope this has given you some inspiration to get out those stamps and create an awesome card or project,

See you all back next Friday with some more inspiration.  The challenge blog is up and running, so checkout the awesome challenge we have in store for you all.....

A Happy New Year!

Hey Everyone,
It's been a very busy week for all of us now Christmas is over, it's time to get ready for the NEW YEAR! I made a very simple card today and just do a CAS look with just one ink to use which I did in this card. I cut the Magnolia papers with my decorative scissor and stamped a background stamp image. Then I stamped Cool Edwin onto the kraft cardstock as well witht the same color and then distressed all the edges with my ink. added twine and that's about it. I hope you like this simple card for the New Year!

By the way may we all have a healthy New Year!

Angel wishes

Good morning, Steph here with Little Tilda from the Little Christmas Collection.  While this little gal is perfect for Christmas cards, she could be used for so many different types of cards.

I stamped the image and colored her with Tim Holtz Distress Markers in Antique Linen and Picket Fence.  A little Spica pen was added around the wings to give her a little shine.

The background was created by inking a stamp lightly with both gold and blue ink.  The colors mix together and create a very unique background.  I tore around the edges of this paper to fit my card, then used a Spellbinders die to create the mat upon which the image would sit.

Thank you for visiting.

Merry Christmas!!!

Pi here on Christmas eve with another Christmas card, this may not be the most decorated but it has a different feature I wanted to give a try.

It's called a never ending folding card and if you search on youtube there are plenty of tutorials out there. You can keep on opening this card forever:)

It's so clever you only use 2 sheets of 6x6 design paper and since you'll be able to see both sides it's perfect for those double sided design papers. I made it harder for myself then it need to be, I tried to make it possible to fold the other way as well without looking backwards, I managed in some places. But next time I'll just give it a rest:)

First fold
Folded backwards

Another fold
Here's the back of the card, I've stamped the snowflakes so you
also can fold it the opposite way and still don't look backwards
I was challenged to decorate it since you can't embellish it to much for it to stay able to fold properly. So like I said, I'll give this a go again:)

Thanks for visiting!!!
Have a holly-jolly Christmas!!

Would it totally shock you if I didn't post a Christmas card this close to the holiday? ;) I like to sell some of my cards and it's past time selling Christmas, so I made a general themed one. Thought it'd be sweet for a birthday or thinking of you.
I chose Joyful Tilda and colored her up with Copics. The big white rose can be found here. I added some cheesecloth and other embellishments I had on hand. Then I glittered the flowers with Stickles.

Here's hoping this card brings you cheer and beautiful wishes for the New Year.

Cheers and better things to come in 2013.

We are Moving

Good morning, Steph here with today's post.  I have always loved this  Farewell Tilda stamp from the Bon Voyage collection and wanted to color her softly for today's card.

She looks so sweet, but so sad saying good-bye to family and friends.

Hi!

With Lucia just around the corner my card is inspired by the white and the light. I don't own any Lucia stamps at all - can you believe it? You can find some adorable Magnolia stamps at the store though:)

I used my Christmas Tilda with cat again, just to show you how versatile this stamp is when you can put your own sentiment. So here she is holding a sign "silent night, holy night..." I'm sure if you're  good at drawing or sketch, you'd be able to make her look like she would be singing to... I'm rubbish at drawing - which is why I stamp:) Serious though, if you know how to make here a singing mouth please let my know! The background paper is also from Magnolia.

Cocco Tag

Wow, can you even believe how fast Christmas is approaching? Yikes!!! I have everything done except stocking stuffers.

Made a quick tag using Cocco with Present.  I just placed the tag over another piece of paper and thus created this look. I love how it turned out. Used Copics to color.

Happy B-day!

Hey Everyone,
It's Thursday once again and I made another card using Cool Edwin. I love this image it can go for any occasions. I colored the image with copic markers. For the background I dry embossed and then distressed all the edges with distress inks. Then applied perfect medium ink with clear embossing powder then heat set it. I like doing this a lot if I want to create my own background.
I hope you like this simple card for today.

Christmas Tilda

Hi everyone!

So we're into December - oh what fun!!
Here in Gothenburg that means the entire city is covered in Christmas light - I love this time of year. We just got our first snow!!
Lets see for how long this time:)

I tried to work with a lot of layers this week, but looking at it now I feel I need another one - why is it that you always see this when everything is glued? I wish I had some brown cardstock between the red designer paper and the bottom brown with stripes. There are so many designer paper mixed in this one. Magnolia vintage Christmas, MME lost & found Christmas, Maja Design Vintage Christmas and Maja Design It's Christmas. They are all distressed with Tim Holtz vintage photo.

I die cut a MFT doily to make my image pop and behind it I wanted it to look like branches and mistletoe. To be creative and use dies already in my possession I used memory box fern leaf and poppy leaf die... But I couldn't resist when I found these pine branches by Cherry lynn so I added some. I'm not sure it worked, but I had so much fun.

Of course I had to add some Magnolia garlands in white and red, as well as some home made stick pins. We also got some cute charms in our DT packages from the rubber buggy, so I let a Christmas tree hang loose and dangle to give the card some movement.

I coloured my Tilda with copic markers and raised her on foam dots, I also coloured another one similar, but different and just cut the top half. I'm pleased with the result of her peeking out in the corner. With Tim Holtz chit chat stickers I added "a very" since Tilda is holding the sign "merry Christmas"

I had a blast with this card, but hey it's Magnolia and Christmas - how can it not be fun, right!

Cocco with Present

Busy, busy, busy!!! That's what it is around here...I'm sure you are, too. Thanks for taking the time to check us out.

I chose to use a simple layout with not very many embellishments. Used the spotted coloring technique with my Copics.  The cute bear image comes from Magnolia and is called Cocco with Present.
