Wild Rose Studio Little Duck

Springtime is showing up at times in the Northwest and soon there will be young duckling in our pond on the farm.
The Rubber Buggy on-line store just got in several new Wild Rose Studio stamps and I love the two Wild Rose Studio stamps sets on my card called Wild Rose Studio Little Duck along with the very versatile stamp set called Wild Rose Studio Bella's Party 2 that included the stamp with the butterflies holding the Happy Birthday banner.

The card measures 7" x 8".  I colored the duck with PanPastels and Copic Markers. I added a tiny bow and glued a tiny heart shaped pearl.   The patterned paper behind the image is from the Heartfelt Creations Celebrate The Seasons paper collection.  I used 1/8" wide Scor-Tape to adhere the 3mm flat back string of pearls around the image and inside near the duck.  I used Scor-Tape to adhere each layer of this card besides some glue. I love Scor-Tape on  variety of projects because I can lift the Scor-Tape off to reposition it and the tape remains sticky.  I don't lift it off of most paper to do this but objects like adhering bows, pearls and flowers.   The Rubber Buggy carries a variety of widths of Scor-Tape.

I die cut 6 of the small Tattered Lace Echinacea flowers with white cardstock using the smallest die in this set and glued two flowers together after using my fingers to bend each petal.  I added
US Artquest Mini Prills - You Had Me At Yellow in the center of the small flowers and for the large Echinacea flower, I took a large flat back pearl and glued prills on it before gluing it in the center of this flower.  I cut out a butterfly with white cardstock and glued it behind the large flower.

So I hope I have inspired you to make a card with the adorable Wild Rose Studio stamp sets along with the gorgeous Tattered Lace Floral Layer Echinacea die set.   You can purchase these dies and supplies from The Rubber Buggy on-line store.

Enjoy and Happy Crafting!

May All Your Wishes Come True

Hi everyone, Steph Ackerman here today with lots of wishes.  Please visit the store for all the fun products I've used today.

Starting with a sheet of Bazzill cardstock in Mint, I created a top folding card using my Scor-Pal.  Using papers from Graphic 45's Fairie Dust collection, I created my card using Moonlight Blooms. The reverse side was used on the card and the cut off was matted with Bazzill Circus Peanuts and added to the card.

A variety of papers were cut apart and added to the card.  Wishes was punched from one of the included tags.

Stamping a Julie Nutting doll with Memento Tuxedo Black Ink, I fussy cut her and removed her legs.  She was colored with assorted Copic Markers.   Die cut circles were cut from orange and white cardstock and the doll was added with Scrapbook Adhesives.  Nuvo Crystal Drops in Metallic Silver Lining were added to the buttons on her shirt.

Thank you for visiting.

Hello Sunshine using Blue Fern Studios In the Mood Collection

Hi's Bev here today. Hope your having a great day. For The Rubber Buggy blog post today I am sharing a photo of my youngest Grand Daugher "Jules". She is growing up far too fast... so saving lots of photos of her to scrap to share memories. I am using Blue Fern Studios In the Mood Collection. The colouring is perfect with the photo.

Supply List:
The Rubber Buggy Products
Paper: Blue Fern Studios In the Mood Collection
Flowers: Blue Fern Studios In the Moody Florals
Ink: Tim Holtz Distress Oxide, Distress Vintage Photo
Other: Creative Embellishments Chipboards, Flair Buttons, Stencil, Buttons, Thread, black pen

For this page I started by cutting the centre of the background piece out to save to use else where.

Cut and fit the next layer onto the background outer framed piece.

Using distress oxide and sponge finger dauber I stenciled in the upper right corner.

Add some smaller stenciling in lower outer edges.

I added print paper pennant to base the photo on.

I inked the chipboard accents ready to use for my page.

I added lace down the side of pennant. and added a finished chipboard accent.

In this section I put the title, a threaded button accent and flair buttons.

Here is a super fun section with chipboard, flowers and more chipboard with paper inserts.

Here are 2 photos for better viewing of the details.

Thanks for stopping by.... be sure to visit the STORE to view these and so many other amazing products.

Heaven and Earth

Welcome back and excited to share another gorgeous Stamperia 12" x 12" Paper Pack called
Stamperia Flower Alphabet that includes 1 each of 10 double-sided sheets all from The Rubber Buggy on-line store.  Since each sheet was so stunning, I had a difficult time wanting to cut this this gorgeous sheet from this paper pack.  Make sure to get your order in for this paper since The Stamperia Flower Alphabet paper pack will sell out soon!
I love the saying on this tag (see below)  that was included in the Stamperia Flower Alphabet  paper pack.  One sheet has a variety of different flower tags with beautiful sentiments.

Each tag coordinated beautifully with the flowers on each sheet.  My photo doesn't do justice on how gorgeous the color of these flowers on this paper.

I cut out this gorgeous butterfly and used NUVO Glitter Gloss pen on the tag and this butterfly.

I hand made the foamiran flowers using the Heartfelt Creations Berry Blossom flower die set and colored each pearl found in  the Heartfelt Creations Bridal Bouquet Small Stamen with a yellow Copic Marker before using a hot glue gun to glue each pearl stamen to the center of the foamiran flowers.

I added a white feather and unraveled a small amount of cheese cloth and glued behind the bouquet of flowers and tag.

Stamperia Flower Alphabet Paper Pack and some examples of gorgeous paper with flowers and nature inside this pack.  The one below was used on this card but the other papers will be used in the future for other cards.  I cut the 12" x 12" paper on the bottom measuring a 6" square and adhered the tag next to the patterned paper with tags which coordinated so well.

Here are just a few more gorgeous flowering paper in the Stamperia Flower Alphabet paper collection besides the tags, notes, etc. all in this one paper pack:

Check out the other Stamperia paper pads and products that just came in this month to The Rubber Buggy on-line store.

Graphic 45 Tags

Hi everyone, Steph Ackerman here today with some fun new tags using Graphic 45 papers.  Please visit the store for all the fun products I've used today.

Have you seen Graphic 45's Fairie Dust collection?  It's lovely.

Pair these papers with some fun Bazzill cardstock colors.  I've used  Circus Peanuts  for the first 2 tags.

And I've used Bazzill cardstock in Mint for my next 2 tags.

Each tag was wrapped with May Arts sheer ribbon.

Look at them all - such a pretty collection of tags for any purpose.

Thank you for visiting.
